After the winter months, nature slowly begins to awaken. Trees burst into bud, flowers bloom once again, birds return, and every day brings something new to discover. It's the perfect time to spark children's curiosity and encourage them to observe the world around them.

During our Easter Camp, we make the most of this renewed energy. Most activities take place outdoors, inviting children to explore, experiment, create and discover the small changes that signal the arrival of spring.

Each spring day brings something new to discover. A flower that bloomed overnight, trees bursting into bud, birds returning to nest, or the first insects emerging once again.

We make the most of this season, when everything comes back to life, to spark children's curiosity. Observing, planting, cooking with the season's first harvests, building, experimenting, or simply taking the time to understand the changes happening all around us.

No two springs are ever exactly the same. The weather, the blossoms and the discoveries we make along the way naturally shape each day. It's this sense of the unexpected that makes every camp unique.

Every day brings a new discovery: a flower beginning to bloom, buds that appeared overnight, a butterfly spotted along the trail, or the first seeds already starting to sprout. Children leave with a lasting curiosity about the natural world and the desire to keep observing the living things around them long after the camp has ended.

In spring, everything changes quickly. A meadow can burst into bloom in just a few days, the first tadpoles appear, and trees seem to transform from one week to the next.

We adapt our days to these subtle changes, allowing children to experience nature as it truly is—alive, ever-changing, full of surprises and wonder.

With the arrival of spring come the season's first fresh herbs, young vegetables and early harvests, all signalling the start of a new growing season.

Our meals naturally follow this rhythm, helping children discover that the food we eat changes with the seasons too.

To make life easier for families, we offer several convenient pick-up locations between Morges, Lausanne and Vevey. The same meeting points and pick-up times apply to all of our camps.

You can find the full list of pick-up locations on our Camps page.

All of our Easter Camps include supervision by the Hey Folks team, freshly prepared meals and snacks made with seasonal, locally sourced ingredients, return transport from our pick-up locations, and all the equipment needed for each activity. Children experience nature coming back to life through adventures and activities specially designed for the spring holidays.

Details of our different pricing options—including Standard, Early Booking, Corporate and Member rates—as well as the terms and conditions for each option, can be found on our Camps page in the Pricing section.

1. Do the children spend the whole day outdoors?

Yes, whenever possible. Spring is the perfect season to explore nature, witness it coming back to life and enjoy the longer days. We prioritise outdoor activities and only adapt the programme when weather conditions no longer allow us to guarantee the children's comfort or safety.

2. What happens if it rains?

A little rain doesn't stop the adventure. With suitable clothing, children can continue to enjoy many outdoor activities. If heavy rain or unsuitable conditions make this impossible, we always have carefully planned alternatives to ensure the day remains full of discoveries.

3. Do you organise an Easter egg hunt?

Yes. The Easter egg hunt is one of the traditions of our Easter Camp, but with a Hey Folks twist. It becomes part of a larger adventure combining puzzles, teamwork, exploration and nature discoveries.

4. What do children discover in spring?

Spring is a season when nature changes almost every day. Depending on the week, children may observe the first buds, wildflowers, birds building their nests, tadpoles in ponds, insects, or take part in gardening and seed-planting activities. Every outing is an opportunity to experience nature up close.

5. Do the activities change from one week to the next?

Yes. Nature never follows exactly the same timetable. We adapt certain activities according to the weather, flowering plants, wildlife observations and the opportunities each season brings. Every week is unique.

6. Are the meals seasonal?

Yes. We prepare meals using seasonal ingredients so children can experience spring through its flavours as well as its landscapes. Daily menus are shared with families via the camp's private WhatsApp group.

7. My child doesn't know anyone. Will that be a problem?

Not at all. Many children join us on their own for the first time. The beginning of the week is carefully designed to help everyone make friends, build confidence and quickly feel part of the group.

8. Who supervises the children?

Our camps are limited to 24 children per week, allowing us to provide personalised support and high-quality supervision. Every member of the Hey Folks team holds the required enhanced criminal record check and the qualifications needed to work with children. At least two team members present each week hold up-to-date paediatric first aid certifications. When water-based activities are planned, they also hold valid Base Pool and Base Pool Plus water safety certifications.

9. How many children attend each camp?

We intentionally limit each camp to 24 children per week. This allows us to offer personalised attention, build a strong group dynamic and maintain the warm, welcoming atmosphere that defines Hey Folks.

10. What are the camp hours?

Children are dropped off between 7:45 am and 8:00 am at their chosen pick-up location. Collection takes place between 5:30 pm and 6:00 pm, depending on the location. These hours make it easy for families to fit the camp into their daily routine during the school holidays.

11. How do parents stay informed during the week?

Each camp has its own private WhatsApp group where we share important updates, daily menus and plenty of photos from the children's adventures. Families can follow the week's activities almost in real time.

12. Can I book just one day of the camp?

No. Our Easter Camps are designed as complete week-long adventures. Activities, discoveries and friendships build naturally throughout the week, allowing every child to enjoy the full experience.

13. Why choose an Easter Camp?

Spring is a season of constant change. Children witness nature coming back to life, discover the first signs of warmer days ahead, and enjoy experiences that simply can't be recreated at any other time of year. It's the perfect week to nurture their curiosity, observation skills and love of the outdoors.

Our Easter Camps are held exclusively during the spring school holidays. As places are intentionally limited to keep our groups small, we recommend booking as soon as you've made your decision.

Spring marks the return of warmer days, but the Hey Folks adventure continues long after the Easter holidays are over. Every season offers children the chance to discover new landscapes, new activities and a natural world that changes throughout the year.

  • Summer Camps – Several weeks of adventure throughout July and August, exploring lakes, forests, mountains and picturesque villages across French-speaking Switzerland.
  • Autumn Camps – Vibrant forests, seasonal harvests, creative workshops and Halloween adventures.
  • Ski Camps – A week in Champéry where children learn, improve their skiing and build confidence on the slopes with the Swiss Ski School.
  • All Our Camps – Find everything you need to know about our camps, including how they work, daily schedules, transport, meals, supervision and pricing.

The adventure continues beyond the school holidays too. Our Adventure Days on Saturdays and our Birthday Parties give children even more opportunities to explore, create and enjoy new experiences throughout the year.
